How it works

Step 1

Take a photo of the textbook page. Supports English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese and Korean.

Step 2

The app scans the text automatically, or you can type it in manually.

Step 3

Choose a language and voice, then start practice — word by word or sentence by sentence.

Sentence-by-sentence playback — Words highlight as they're read aloud, so you can follow along even if you don't speak the language.
Hide the text — Prevent children from peeking at the answers.
Adjustable speed — Slow down or speed up to suit any level.
Larger text — Easy to read for all ages.

Save word lists — Review anytime to reinforce learning.
Ad-free — No distractions for a focused study session.

SpellEasy

Child failing weekly spelling tests? Practise at home — no tutor needed.

Download SpellEasy

Weekly spelling tests are a regular challenge for primary school children. SpellEasy lets parents import the school word list by photo, paste, or typing — and turns it into an interactive spelling game. Study the words, then spell them letter by letter, earn stars, and track progress over time. No tutor needed, and no English knowledge required from parents.

How it works

Step 1

Import the word list — photograph the school word sheet (OCR extracts it instantly), paste a block of text, or type words in manually.

Step 2

Study mode — swipe through word cards, hear the correct pronunciation, and see a picture for each word before the spelling round begins.

Step 3

Spelling game — tap letters one by one to spell each word. Earn 1–3 stars per word based on accuracy. Review your session results and track progress over time.

Free features

Unlimited custom word lists — Create lists from a photo (OCR), paste, or manual typing — no limit on lists or words.
Built-in word lists — Cambridge YLE, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan primary school word lists included. First 2 topic lists per level free.
Study mode — Swipeable word cards with pronunciation before every spelling round — so children hear the word before they spell it.
Progress tracking — Stars per word, session history, mastered words list, and a practice calendar heatmap.

Premium features

All built-in word lists unlocked — Full access to all HK, Singapore, Taiwan, and Cambridge YLE topic lists.
Letter hints — Reveal the first letter, first and last letters, or all vowels on demand — one use per word.
More pronunciation replays — Set 2, 3, or unlimited listens per word per session (free users get 1).
